HDRI Notes
- High Dynamic Range Imagery- Different exposures put together to fix luminance range, one image, allows greater range between light and dark areas in an image, dynamic because light values can be modified, intensifies levels seen by human eye more accurately
- HDRi File Format- Not HDRI, 64 bit or 32 bit file format for saving RAW date of HDR scans
- Tone Mapping- Multiple Low-Dynamic Range images combined, shooting multiple exposures also called Bracketing=AEB on some cameras, separate exposures combined with photoshop
- Tips- Use tripod, exposure must be in exact same position, portraits difficult without AEB, look of HDRI can be faked with single exposure
